Kenya Medical Outreach Mission Trip

The Kenya Medical Outreach is a non profit organization. It was founded by Dr. Williams, his wife Sheila, and his brother Brad. This organization takes annual trips to visit many rural villages in Kenya. They provide medical and dental care that is much needed to the Kenyan people. One project that the organization also funds is the clean water project. Over an estimated 15 million people have no access to clean water in Kenya. They are forced to drink contaminated water which is the cause of 80% of diseases. The organizations annual trip is coming up soon. There have been many wanting to know how they can help. One important way to help with this year's mission trip is to pray for the success of the trip. Another way is by financial support. For more information about how to make your donation or about this year's clean water projects visit http://www.kenyamo.com/ . Your support and prayers are greatly appreciated.

Andy Velo To Africa With Love

Andy Velo is one of our fine friends and patients at Suwanee Dental Care. He is smack dab right in the middle of his dental makeover with Invisalign orthodontics which you can actually follow on our The Velo Project blog which details every step of his treatment, thoughts and concerns as he goes through space closure, bring out from impaction a permanent canine tooth, his wisdom tooth extraction appointment which is coming up in May.

Also on the blog, Andy is talking to his fans about his music career, how its blossoming, taking off onto college campuses, venues throughout the Southeast like West Palm Beach, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina and Tennessee. You can listen to his first single he has written and recorded on the blog site...Southern Thing. We followed Andy and his band to Cowboys in Kennesaw last month and enjoyed the show tremendously.

Andy is multitalented and multidimensional. He acts in movies, having been in three to date, including We Are Marshall and The Blindside which won a Golden Globe just recently. Andy will be traveling to Kenya as song leader, worship leader, music director for this year's Kenya Medical Outreach team. He will be assisting in the medical and dental team as well as the music and worship teams at the hospital clinic and the schools in the rural areas we visit and minister.

For those interested in assisting Andy in his quest to Africa, he states that he is indeed in need of your support, your prayers and any assistance financially in getting the funds to go on this overseas trip. The cost of being on a mission like this is over $4000.00 with t he airfare, transportation in country and the hiring of drivers and guards being the bulk of the cost. Kenya Medical Outreach usually takes a team of 15 to 25 each year on their annual mission trip and each person pays their own way with the help of friends, relatives and businesses who believe in this worthy project. Andy thanks all of you who wish to assist in advance and prays blessings upon you as you consider supporting his work overseas.
